Holiday Pay and Leave Without Pay

Please be aware that employees taking leave without pay before and/or after a paid Holiday will not receive pay for that Holiday.

I need to update my direct deposit information, what do I do?


You may update your direct deposit information online.  Please go to the Employee Self Service Website once there click on Pay/Tax Information on the right hand side.  To update your direct deposit information please click on Direct Deposit.  The deadline for making changes to your direct deposit each month is the 15th.  Please note, if you change your information after the 15th of the current month it will not take effect until the following payroll cycle.  If you do not have a computer and need a paper copy, please click on the link below for a paper copy.

How can I have the amount of state or federal income tax that is withheld from my check increased/decreased?

You may update your tax withholding information online.  Please go to the Employee Self Service Websiteonce there click on Pay/Tax Information on the right hand side.  To update your tax information you will need to click on W4.  From here you will be able to update both your federal and state taxes.  If you do not have a computer and need a paper copy, please click on the link below for Federal and State.  Please note, if you change your information after the 15th of the current month it will not take effect until the following payroll cycle.

I do not know what my username and password is for the employee self service portal, what do I do? 

In order to access your employee portal you will need to enter your employee number as your username.  This is usually a 4 - 5 digit number.  If you do not have this number you will need to contact the Human Resources department to get this information.  If you have never logged on to the system before your password will be the last four of your social security number.  If you have logged in before but can not remember your password please send an email to [email protected] or w[email protected] to have this reset.

I need a copy of a paycheck stub, can the payroll office print me one? 

The payroll office does not keep copies of paycheck stubs, you may print a copy yourself from the Employee Self Service Website.

What days am I being paid for during each pay period? 

Each pay period runs from the 16th of the previous month to the 15th of the current month.  For example, if you received your paycheck for March you are being paid for February 16-March 15.  (There are some exceptions to this schedule during short payroll periods such as December.)

If I sign up for the 12 month pay can I change during the school year?

No, elections to defer payroll payment to July are irrevocable and cannot be changed or stopped during the school year.

If I sign up for the 12 month pay and have a financial emergency can I request this money before July?

No, funds will not be available until July for any reason other than separation of service.

I closed my bank account but I did not change my direct deposit information.  What happens to my money? 

If you close your account and do not update your information with payroll your funds will be sent to the old account.  In most cases the bank will reject the funds and return them to our bank.  This process does take several days.  Your check can not be reissued until your funds are returned to our bank.

I've lost my W-2, how can I get a new one? 

You may print a copy of W-2 from the Employee Self Service Website.
