Franklin County Community: Union Hall School Board Vacancy
The Union Hall School Board seat became vacant on July 8, 2026. Per the Code of Virginia, the Franklin County School Board is accepting applications from Union Hall residents to fill this seat until a special election is held this November.
Who is eligible? To apply, you must be a current Union Hall resident and a qualified voter in the Union Hall election district (Va. Code § 24.2-228).

· In Person: Hand-deliver your application to the Franklin County School Board Office at 25 Bernard Rd., Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
Deadline: All applications must be received by the School Board Clerk before Monday, July 27, 2026, at 4:30 PM.
