As a foundation for your good health, Franklin County Public Schools provides a selection of medical plans offering quality, flexibility and value. You can enroll for coverage within 30 days of your eligibility date or during the annual open enrollment period. We provide additional information regarding your benefit options during the onboarding process. Below is an overview of the medical benefits offered by FCPS.

Franklin County Public Schools offers health insurance through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. We are pleased to offer the choice between 3 Traditional Keycare Health Plans and 1 High Deductible Health Plan.

Wellness Incentive:

FCPS is continuing the wellness incentive for the 2024-2025 school year. In order to receive the $20/month credit on your health insurance premium the Wellness Form must be turned into the HR office.

Active full time employees enrolled in one of the group medical plans offered by FCPS are eligible to receive a $20/month credit if the Annual Wellness Confirmation Form is completed. If an employee has employee + spouse coverage, and the spouse completes the physical, the employee will receive a $40/month credit (dependent children are not eligible for this credit). Physicals must be completed between May 16th, 2023 - May 15th, 2024 to receive credit for the 2024-2025 school year.

If a physical is completed between 5/16/2024 - 5/15/2025 it will apply to the 2025-2026 school year.

Anthem Medical Plans allow for one physical per CALENDAR year. You are not required to wait one year to the date of your previous physical. The Annual Wellness Confirmation Form is the only form we will accept to receive the credit. Please do not turn in personal health information or results. Please retain a copy of your form for your personal records.
