In an
effort to provide ongoing training
for teachers in current
instructional technology practices,
The Technology services department
will provide a number of Technology
Training Opportunities during the
summer. These opportunities will
include a number of web-based
instructional tools, multi-media
tools, interactive tools and other
instructional tools and systems
which either supplement, bridge or
enhance the classroom educational
process. The Technology Training
Opportunities will consist primarily
of technologies that are already
being used in some capacity in many
classrooms across the district,
region and state. The opportunities
will also include emerging
technologies in order to give
participants a degree of insight on
what will be coming to their
classrooms in the near future. These
opportunities will take place during
each week throughout the summer
vacation beginning with the week of
June 22nd and ending with the week
of August 3rd.There will be a
mixture of full day classes and
morning and afternoon sessions. This
is free of charge to teachers.
Teachers may receive recertification
points for attendance.
